Steps to recover a forgot Hotmail password
One of the common features with modern web
browsers are that they allow the end-user to cache or save passwords in commonly
used sites such as the Windows Live login page or Hotmail. Unfortunately, when
someone creates a secure password for their Hotmail account and then relies on
this function to save their password, they can forget it. Either due to
excessive dependence on the web browser cache, or simply by having a bad
memory; Another common task for Hotmail users is to recover a forgot
Hotmail password.
Step 1: Start your computer's web browser
and load the Windows Live login page.
Step 2: Select the "Forgot
your password" link below the password text field on the Windows Live
login screen.
Step 3: Enter your alternate email address
and then enter the characters located in the captcha (or images) on the page
shown below. This is to prove that you are a human, not a robot or a computer
program. Press the "Continue" menu button.
Step 4: Microsoft will email the details of
the password change procedure to your alternate email address to recover your forgot
Hotmail password.
Step 5: Click on the link of the newly
received email from Hotmail / Microsoft labeled "Confirm request and reset
password".
Step 6: On the page shown below, enter your
Hotmail ID. Then, enter the new password along with a confirmation entry and

Windows Live login screen.

Mail with your new password.
